The role: You'll be building the automation tools that power our investment pipeline, portfolio monitoring, and LP community platform — directly impacting how we identify, evaluate, and support the next generation of AI companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend Development: Design and develop Python async applications based on FastAPI, implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Cloud Infrastructure: Build and maintain cloud-native applications on GCP using IaC (Pulumi)
• Data Integration: Develop ETL pipelines and data processing systems that integrate with multiple external APIs
• Database Management: Work with MongoDB and other NoSQL databases, designing efficient data models and query optimization
• API Development: Create and maintain integrations with third-party services including OpenAI, SerpAPI, and various social media platforms
• DevOps & Deployment: Manage CI/CD pipelines, containerization with Docker, and deployment on GCP

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Experience: 3+ years of professional Python development experience
• Cloud Experience: 2+ years working with Google Cloud Platform or similar
• API Development: Strong experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Database Skills: Proficiency with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB
• Async Programming: Experience with asynchronous programming patterns
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and debugging skills
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
